“ We had an amazing experience at Yalla in Victoria! I tried the Maquli Lamb Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious — the lamb was very flavorful, perfectly spiced. What made it even better is that everything here is halal. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was friendly. ”

Only reason I took a star off for the service/atmosphere is the guy didn’t hear me for part of my order. He was wearing headphones which wouldn’t have bugged me if he didn’t mishear me. “ We went there on Victoria Day. Small and cozy restaurant, welcoming and warm atmosphere with very polite and friendly staff. My wife ordered a falafel&fries bowl, and I ordered the Maquli Lamb Bowl with extra rice, and let me tell you, they were both the tastiest, most flavorful middle eastern dishes I ever had. Very well-cooked and colorful. The amount of both meals was just enough and let me tell you the price was reasonable and kind of cheap for that quality. STRONGLY RECOMMEND DEFINITELY WILL GO THERE AGAIN. My only concern was the bathroom and its entrance. They can definitely use a divider board or a temporary partition wall to hide the washroom door. ”
